Glory

Die Tri Polish Tuesday-Reihe von Debbies The Crumpet im Februar geht heute mit dem grauen Glory zu Ende und ich bin reichlich froh damit durch zu sein, da meine Farbauswahl einfach nicht optimal war.

Glory (P2, Color Victim Nail Polish). Farbe & Finish: Dunkles, nahezu neutrales (ganz leicht kühles) Grau mit Creme-Finish. Auftrag: Sehr gut. Der Lack lässt sich sehr gut verteilen, deckt je nach eigener Großzügigkeit in ein bis zwei Schichten und trocknet auch in angenehm kurzer Zeit durch. Preis/Leistung: Sehr gut. Von März 2011 bis September 2012 waren 8 ml dieser Farbe im Victim Nail Polish-Standardsortiment für 1,55 Euro erhältlich.

Mit einem Fächerpinsel (Fan Brush), dem pinken Scandal (P2, Color Victim Nail Polish) und dem braunen Coffee Mania (P2, Color Victim Nail Polish) habe ich mich erstmals an Distressed Nails versucht. Das Design ist zudem mit einer Schicht UV-Protect Top Coat (P2) überzogen. Mit dem Ergebnis bin durchaus zufrieden, musste aber leider bestätigen, was ich schon ahnte: Das unruhige Erscheinungsbild gefällt mir gar nicht.

My last colour for February's Tri Polish Tuesday Challenge of Debbie at The Crumpet is grey. Glory (P2, Color Victim Nail Polish) is a dark representative of this colour, almost neutral, easy to handle but not available anymore since September 2012. I used two coats as my base and tried to create distressed nails with a fan brush, the pink Scandal (P2, Color Victim Nail Polish) and the dark brown Coffee Mania (P2, Color Victim Nail Polish). I sealed everything with one coat of UV-Protect Top Coat (P2). In my opinion, the design came out quite well if you consider the dark grey and the dark brown. But I also found out that I do not really like the look of it.
